Fonvielle Named President of The Rappaport Companies

McLean, Va. —  Fonvielle, who oversees leasing in the company’s portfolio, expands role with promotion.

— Henry Fonvielle has been promoted to president of The Rappaport Companies, a retail leasing, development services, tenant representation and property management firm concentrating on the Washington, D.C., area. Since Fonvielle joined the company six years ago as executive vice president, The Rappaport Companies has increased its leasing and management portfolio from 35 to 132 properties. Approximately 45 employees have joined the firm since 2006, and the company has added brokerage, construction management and receivership to its capabilities. Gary D. Rappaport, CEO, founded the company in 1984 with the purchase of his first shopping center in Baltimore. The company’s current leasing and management portfolio stands at approximately 11 million square feet.
