Phillips Edison-ARC Buys Five Florida Shopping Centers for $64 Million

Miami – Publix anchors three of the retail centers in the portfolio and Winn-Dixie anchors two.

The Sunshine State Portfolio is 93 percent leased.Miami – CBRE has arranged the sale of the Sunshine State Portfolio, a retail property portfolio of five grocery-anchored retail centers totaling 347,478 square feet, to Phillips Edison-ARC Shopping Center REIT Inc. for $64 million. The portfolio has locations in south, central and north Florida. CBRE’s Casey Rosen, Dennis Carson and Cliff Taylor represented the seller in the transaction. Publix anchors three of the retail centers in the portfolio and Winn-Dixie anchors two. The properties anchored by Publix are Deerwood Lake Commons in Jacksonville; Heath Brook Commons in Ocala; and West Creek Commons in Coconut Creek. The two properties anchored by Winn-Dixie stores are at Park View Square in Miramar and St. Johns Commons in Jacksonville. The portfolio is 93 percent leased.
