West Dundee, Ill. — Rouse Properties Inc. will begin the redevelopment of Spring Hill Mall, a 1.2 million-square-foot, single-level regional mall located in the Chicago suburb of West Dundee.
Tenants at Spring Hill include Macy’s, Carson Pirie Scott, Sears, Kohl’s, Victoria’s Secret and American Eagle Outfitters. The redevelopment will include a new entertainment and dining pavilion, featuring a 37,000-square-foot, eight-screen Cinemark Theatre, and a new exterior plaza with seating, and updated landscaping. The redevelopment is expected to open in Spring 2017. Approximately 25,000 square feet of enclosed mall space will also be reconfigured into outward facing retail.
