Miami — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of Keystone Shoppes, a 9,566-square-foot retail center located in Miami. Ruben Gonzalez and John Obando, private investors, acquired the property for $9.4 million. Jonathan De La Rosa of Marcus & Millichap marketed the center on behalf of the seller, Keystone Holdings. Chipotle Mexican Grill anchors the center.

Houston — EDENS has announced the addition of five new tenants to Uptown Park, a retail center located in Houston. Restaurant Lombardi Cucina Italiana will open a 9,350-square-foot location; Polestar, a Swedish electric car brand, will occupy 3,420 square feet; and GLOSSLAB, a membership-based nail salon, will occupy 972 square feet. Rocambolesc, an ice cream shop, opened at the retail center earlier this year. Fertility and reproductive health clinic kindbody also recently opened its 5,360-square-foot location at Uptown Park.
Weehawken, N.J. — Planet Fitness has signed a 19,317-square-foot retail sublease at Tower Plaza in the northern New Jersey community of Weehawken. The tenant is backfilling part of a space leased to German discount grocer Lidl. Mike Testa and Bill Farkas of Jeffery Realty represented Lidl in the sublease negotiations. Ray Villafana of Franchise Realty represented Planet Fitness.
Belvidere, Ill. — Anytime Fitness has signed a 6,276-square-foot retail lease at Southtowne Shopping Center in Belvidere, a city in northern Illinois. The property is located at the corner of Highway 20 and Pearl Street. Rick Scardino of Lee & Associates represented the landlord, Southtowne Ventures LLC, in the transaction. Jack Siragusa of CBRE represented the tenant.
Reston, Va. — Comstock Holding Cos. Inc. has signed mini-golf entertainment concept Puttshack to anchor Phase II of Reston Station, an 80-acre mixed-use project underway in Northern Virginia. Located near the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station at 1850 Reston Row Plaza in Reston, Puttshack will be the project’s first active entertainment venue when it opens in summer 2025. Madison, Wis. — Von Maur has opened an 82,000-square-foot department store at West Towne Mall in Madison. Von Maur backfills a space formerly home to Boston Store. West Towne Mall spans 828,602 square feet and is home to tenants such as Total Wine & More, Dave & Busters, Dick’s Sporting Goods, JC Penney, Athleta, Pandora, Pottery Barn, Sephora, Williams-Sonoma and The Cheesecake Factory.
Oxford, Mich. — Clean Hub Car Wash has purchased a 4,700-square-foot retail building at 153 S. Washington St. in Oxford, about 40 miles north of Detroit. Barry Landau of Dominion Real Estate Advisors LLC represented the seller, DJG Properties LLC. Jordan Jabbori of CMP Real Estate Group represented Clean Hub Car Wash, which currently operates out of Sterling Heights and has three new locations scheduled to open in the near future.
New York City — Daniel DePasquale of Katz & Associates has leased two retail spaces located in the New York City borough of Queens. Japanese grocery store Teso Life has signed a 6,000-square-foot lease at 42-19 Bell Blvd. in the Bayside neighborhood, and Filipino fast-casual restaurant Jollibee will occupy 3,614 square feet on the ground floor at 91-23 Queens Blvd. DePasquale represented the landlords, Paulipark Associates LLC and Midwood, respectively, in both deals. Both tenants are scheduled to open in 2023.
Farmingdale, N.Y. — Breslin Realty has arranged a long-term lease with fast-casual restaurant Noodles & Company for 2,500 square feet of space at Republic Plaza, a shopping center located in Farmingdale on Long Island. Robert Delavale of Breslin negotiated the deal on behalf of the undisclosed landlord. Other tenants of Republic Plaza include Walmart Supercenter, Chili’s, Houlihan’s, Bank of America, Panera Bread, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Burger Village, The Halal Guys and AAA.
San Diego — A partnership between Citivest and Hutensky Capital Partners has sold portions of The Shops at Palm Promenade, a newly constructed shopping center in San Diego, for a combined value of $41.5 million. El Warner, Caitlin Zirpolo, Charley Simpson, Jordan Gomez and Alyssa Mera of Colliers’ Orange County-based National Retail Capital Markets team represented the sellers in the transactions.
