JLL Arranges Sale of Grocery-Anchored Shopping Center in Lakeland, Florida

Lakeland, Fla. — JLL Capital Markets has arranged the sale of Barclay Place, an 84,899-square-foot grocery-anchored shopping center in Lakeland. Brad Peterson and Whitaker Leonhardt of JLL represented the seller, Phillips Edison & Co. Inc., in the transaction. Save-a-Lot anchors the property, which was 97 percent occupied at the time of sale by tenants including Dollar General, Wild Greg’s Saloon, Bob’s Carpet Mart, Great Rooms, Liberty Tax Service, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Jet’s Pizza and Greenberg Dental & Orthodontics. The property is located at 4825-4997 US Highway 98 and was developed in 1973. The center most recently underwent renovations in 2017.
