Stan Johnson Negotiates $46.7 Million Sale of Freestanding Grocery Store in Stamford, Connecticut

Stamford, Conn. — Stan Johnson Co. has negotiated the $46.7 million sale of a freestanding grocery store leased to Stop & Shop at 1937 West Main Street in Stamford. The 69,733-square-foot property was originally built in 2006. Jason Maier of Stan Johnson Company represented the seller, a private investor based in New York, in the disposition of the property to a Pennsylvania-based institutional investor. Both the buyer and seller were involved in 1031 exchanges.
