Eatontown, N.J. — Kushner Companies and Rouse Properties have created a new joint venture to redevelop Monmouth Mall into the Heights at Monmouth, an innovative mixed-use destination that is expected to create a new destination marketplace for the area’s residents.
Glastonbury, Conn. — Rouse Properties has acquired The Shops at Somerset Square, a 115,000-square-foot lifestyle center located in the Hartford suburb of Glastonbury, for $42 million.
New York City — New York City-based Rouse Properties Inc. (NYSE: RSE) has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by an affiliate of Brookfield Asset Management Inc. for $18.25 per share in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $2.8 billion.
Mobile, Ala. — Rouse Properties Inc. will begin a redevelopment of The Shoppes at Bel Air in Mobile.
West Dundee, Ill. — Rouse Properties Inc. will begin the redevelopment of Spring Hill Mall, a 1.2 million-square-foot, single-level regional mall located in the Chicago suburb of West Dundee.
Fresno, Calif. — Rouse Properties has acquired Fig Garden Village, a 301,459-square-foot lifestyle center in Fresno, for $106.1 million.
New York — Rouse Properties Inc. has executed lease agreements with Grimaldi’s Pizzeria to open at three of its malls in late 2015: Southland Center in Taylor, Michigan; Chesterfield Towne Center in Richmond, Virginia; and Bel Air in Mobile, Alabama.
Tracy, Calif. — Rouse Properties owns the 886,903-square-foot mall.
Jonesboro, Ark. — Rouse Properties purchased the mall and an adjacent shopping center.
Bossier City, La. — Rouse Properties expects renovations to be complete by the holiday season.
