Manhattan Beach, Calif. — JLL Retail is set to begin the $150 million redevelopment of Manhattan Village Shopping Center, a 44-acre, 573,000-square-foot mixed-use center located in Manhattan Beach.
JLL plans to remerchandise the center, with tenants Apple, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Sephora and Victoria’s Secret remaining among a mix of new luxury retail and signature restaurants. Future phases of development will include the addition of The Village Shops, a 53,300-square-foot open-air expansion with retail and chef-driven restaurant space and the renovation of the existing community center component anchored by Ralph’s Fresh Fare and CVS/pharmacy.
The redevelopment will also incorporate updated amenities including a central plaza, pedestrian and bike-friendly paths, valet service, consolidated and covered parking, enhanced landscaping and water features.
