Montgomery Township, N.J. — SJC Ventures, a privately held commercial real estate and retail development firm based out of Atlanta, has broken ground on Montgomery Promenade in the New York City suburb of Montgomery Township. Mt. Crawford, Va. — An entity doing business as Buc-ee’s Mt. Crawford LLC has purchased 21.3 acres located on Frieden’s Church Road in Mt. Crawford for the development of a Buc-ee’s Super Center at the site. Nathan Shor and Larry Agnew represented the buyer in the $6.6 million transaction. Upon completion, the property will feature 75,000 square feet of retail space, as well as 120 fueling positions, electric vehicle chargers and parking for more than 650 cars. This will mark the second location in the state for the brand.

New York City — Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake, in partnership with NEXUS Luxury Collection and 8AM Golf, have opened a 22,000-square-foot sports and entertainment bar between Bryant Park and Grand Central Station in New York City. Dubbed T-Squared Social, the venue offers Full Swing golf simulators, duckpin bowling, darts and more than 35 televisions for sports-watching, as well as food and beverages. ForrestPerkins designed the space, which features 24-foot open ceilings, a 32-foot bar, dining and lounge areas and a private event room.

Jacksonville, Fla. — Gateway Jax has acquired 22 acres within Jacksonville’s downtown area to develop a $2 billion mixed-use project aimed at revitalizing the city’s urban core. The first phase of the project is called the Pearl Street District. Orlando, Fla. and Mount Pleasant, S.C. — Crush Yard will open two new pickleball clubs in Florida and South Carolina. Opening later this month, the first venue will total 40,000 square feet in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. In November, a 50,000-square-foot facility will open in Orlando, occupying a former Bed Bath and Beyond building. The clubs will feature pickleball courts, as well as access to coaches.
