Metairie, La.— Three new tenants, all divisions of Abercrombie & Fitch Co., will open at Lakeside Shopping Center, a 1.2 million-square-foot retail center located in Metairie, roughly eight miles outside downtown New Orleans. Abercrombie & Fitch, abercrombie kids and Hollister Co. are scheduled to open at the property this summer. The stores will feature updated prototype formats for the respective brands. Abercrombie & Fitch Co. operates more than 750 stores under these banners throughout North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Lafayette, La. — SRS Real Estate Partners has arranged the sale of Karam Shopping Center, a 100,120-square-foot retail center located in Lafayette. Tenants at the property include Super 1 Foods, which is currently undergoing a $7 million renovation, and dd’s DISCOUNTS. Mishra Group acquired the center from TCP Realty Services for an undisclosed price. Kyle Stonis and Pierce Mayson of SRS represented the seller, with Jonathan Walker of Maestri-Murrell Inc.

New Orleans — SRSA Commercial Real Estate has arranged the sale of Algiers Plaza, a 228,000-square-foot shopping center located in New Orleans. Tenants at the property include Winn-Dixie, Walgreens, Ross Dress for Less, T.J. Maxx, Petco, Five Below and Chick-fil-A. Steve Reisig, Kirsten Early and Christopher Robertson Jr. of SRSA, along with Scott DeYoung and Jeff Conover of Faris Lee Investments, represented the seller, N3 Real Estate, in the transaction.

Cut Off, La. — Dorsey Development Cos. has signed four new tenants to join the roster at Tarpon Heights Shopping Center, a 57,698-square-foot retail property in Cut Off. Dorsey recently completed renovations including replacing the roof and rebuilding the façade, following hurricane damage in 2021. Dollar General will return to its previous 11,398-square-foot space, and Bayou Ju Jitsu, El Viejon and Lafourche Parish Library have additionally leased space at the center.

Metairie, La. — Arhaus will open a 14,000-square-foot showroom at the Feil Organization’s Lakeside Shopping Center, a 1.2 million-square-foot property located roughly eight miles outside New Orleans in Metairie. Scheduled to open later this year, the showroom will be located next to Dillard’s and feature two entrances, one interior and one exterior.

Bossier City, La. — The Cordish Cos. has announced an agreement to acquire Diamond Jacks Casino & Hotel, located in Bossier City in northwest Louisiana. Subject to approval by the Louisiana Gaming Control Board, Cordish plans to redevelop the property into a casino resort and entertainment destination. Closed since March 2020, the development will be the first in the state of Louisiana under Cordish’s Live! brand, which offers dining, entertainment, casino, hotel and sports-anchored entertainment spaces. Lake Charles, La. — Schelin Uldricks & Co. has arranged $13.9 million in financing for the redevelopment of University Plaza, a grocery-anchored shopping center located at the corner of Ryan Street and Sale Road in the southeast Louisiana city of Lake Charles.
