Los Angeles — The Point, an open-air project in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, will open in 2015.
Los Angeles — Federal Realty has begun construction on The Point, an $80 million shopping destination set to open in 2015 in South Bay. The Point, located at the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue and Sepulveda Boulevard, will transform a vacant lot into a 115,000-square-foot center.
The open-air project will feature more than 25 tenants with leasing already underway. The company is targeting regional tenants, chef-driven restaurants and emerging national brands to occupy space at the property. The Point will also include a children’s play area, seating with fire pits, an outdoor grassy area for gatherings.
Architects Orange designed the project and Snyder Langston is the general contractor.
