Los Angeles – Avison Young has completed a 15-year lease with restaurant Fogo de Chao, an authentic Brazilian steakhouse, in downtown Los Angeles. Valued at approximately $6.25 million, the lease totaled 7,414 square feet. Avison Young principal Derrick Moore, based in the company’s Los Angeles office, represented the landlord, 800 Fig Verona Corp. Fogo de Chao was represented by Sierra Commercial Real Estate. The restaurant was previously occupied by Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion, and is situated across the street from FIGat7th, an open-air shopping mall with numerous retail and dining tenants including City Target, Zara, Sports Chalet, H&M, California Pizza Kitchen and City Tavern. Fogo de Chao is currently undergoing tenant improvements with an anticipated grand opening in the fourth quarter of 2014.
