Inland Real Estate Purchases South Elgin Commons

Elgin, Ill. — 128,000 square foot center is 100 percent leased and shadow anchored by Target and Home Depot.

Elgin, Ill.  — Inland Real Estate Acquisitions Inc. has acquired the 128,000-square-foot South Elgin Commons for $25 million.

The center was 100 percent leased and is anchored by Ross Dress for Less, Toys ‘R’ Us and LA Fitness. Also included in the sale is an outparcel next to Ross Dress for Less that would provide an additional 11,000 square feet of retail.

The property is shadow anchored by Super Target and Home Depot, which were not acquired. Lou Quilici of Inland Real Estate Acquisitions facilitated the transaction on behalf of Inland Diversified Real Estate Trust Inc.
