Location Matters and San Diego Regional Airport Authority Leasing Airport Restaurant Space

by Scott Reid

San Diego — San Diego International Airport receives more than 17 million passengers each year.

Location Matters and The San Diego Regional Airport Authority are seeking a restaurateur to fill a restaurant space in their new rental car center, which is currently under construction and will open in early 2016. The center is a $316 million construction project designed with high-end finishes and architecture, reminiscent of a luxury shopping center. It is located off of Interstate 5 and spans 7,900 square feet with 180 feet of floor-to-ceiling glass-lined frontage. The restaurant will also feature dedicated parking with valet. Diners will be able to see airplanes arriving and departing from their tables.
