Longview, Texas — A partnership between Trademark Property Co. and Dillard’s has acquired Longview Mall, a 646,000-square-foot regional shopping center located in Longview. As reported by The Wall Street Journal, the purchase price was $34 million. The mall will now be operated and leased by Trademark, while Dillard’s continues as an anchor tenant. Other retailers include Dick’s Sporting Goods, JCPenney, HomeGoods, Bath & Body Works, Foot Locker, H&M, Kay Jewelers, Auntie Anne’s, Chick-fil-A and Chuck E. Cheese.
Renovations to the mall will include modernizations of the property and upgrades to mall operations to attract additional tenants. A timeline for the redevelopment process was not disclosed.
Trademark’s first redevelopment of a Dillard’s-anchored mall in 2008 was La Palmera, a 1 million-square-foot indoor shopping and dining destination in Corpus Christi, Texas.
