Myrtle Beach, S.C. — Eyzenberg & Co. has arranged a $22.6 million construction loan for the development of a 42,000-square-foot retail project in Myrtle Beach.
Cambridge, Minn. — Timber Development has completed a 22,000-square-foot center shadow-anchored by Target in Cambridge, Minnesota.
Bakersfield, Calif. — Bass Pro Shops has unveiled plans to open a 100,000-square-foot location at Bakersfield Gateway, a planned retail development in Bakersfield. Upon completion, the project, developed by Woodmont Co., will feature 800,000-square-feet of retail and will include a central gathering area for lifestyle events and programming. The new Bass Pro Shops will be the retailer’s fifth location in California. A construction timeline was not released, but is expected to be announced in the coming months.
Atlanta — Banyan Street Capital has unveiled plans to revitalize Peachtree Center, a mixed-use development in downtown Atlanta, with new restaurants, retail and entertainment.
Washington, D.C. — Co-developers Madison Marquette and PN Hoffman will open The Wharf on Oct. 12 in Washington, D.C.
Horsham, Pa. — The Verrichia Co. has acquired the final three parcels necessary to begin development on Horsham Village Plaza, a retail center located in Horsham, about 17 miles outside Philadelphia.
Los Angeles — Westfield Corp., a mixed-use developer based in Sydney, Australia, is opening its $1 billion redevelopment of Westfield Century City mall in the Century City district of Los Angeles on Tuesday, Oct. 3.
Longmont, Colo. — NewMark Merrill Mountain States has secured $62 million in refinancing and completed construction on Village at the Peaks, a 442,000-square-foot shopping center in Longmont.
Charleston, S.C. — Stiles has signed Publix to anchor Point Hope Commons, a 90,000-square-foot shopping center located within Cainhoy Plantation, a mixed-use community under development in Charleston.
Yukon, Okla. — Hooter’s, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen and Arby’s will join The Market at Czech Hall, a 160,000-square-foot retail center located 17 miles west of Oklahoma City in Yukon.
