Adelanto, Calif. — Poppy Market has opened a 5,057-square-foot store in Adelanto. The store is situated within Adelanto Place, a 56,000-square-foot retail center. Lewis Retail Centers, which owns and operates 34 shopping centers in California and Nevada, is the landlord.
Aventura, Fla. — Eight new tenants have signed leases at Esplanade at Aventura, a retail development located in Aventura in south Florida. Together, the new leases total 22,213 square feet. The LEGO Store, Fit2Run, Pure Barre and STK Steakhouse are now open at the property, and If So, The Salty and Hästens are scheduled to open this winter. Seritage Growth Properties is the landlord.
Lawrenceville, N.J. — Four new tenants are opening at Mercer on One, a retail development located in Lawrenceville, roughly 40 miles outside Philadelphia. Bloomingdale’s the Outlet Store, Crate & Barrel Outlet and J. Crew Factory are now open at the property, occupying 18,494; 23,446; and 6,100 square feet, respectively. Sephora is also scheduled to open a store at the development on Nov. 15. The landlord, Federal Realty Investment Trust, completed a rebranding of the 551,000-square-foot property, formerly Mercer Mall, in October 2023.

Burlington, Mass. — Simon has completed a 130,000-square-foot redevelopment at Burlington Mall, a retail property located in the Boston suburb of Burlington. The project included the addition of an outdoor park with green space and amenities; elevated wood elements and porcelain tile finishes throughout the center; and new seating and signage. Almost 50 retailers and eateries were also added during the redevelopment. Detroit — Immersive entertainment concept Cosm has signed on as the anchor tenant at Development at Cadillac Square, a 1.5 million-square-foot mixed-use project scheduled to break ground in Detroit in 2025. Cosm Detroit will feature an LED dome spanning roughly 90 feet with Shared Reality technology, offering experiential sports and entertainment programming. Waterbury, Conn. — Grocer Price Rite has signed a 10-year, 34,000-square-foot lease at Waterbury Shopping Center, a retail center located in Waterbury. William Cafero of Charter Realty arranged the lease on behalf of the landlord, Tartaglia Commercial Properties. Price Rite will occupy a vacant space at the property that formerly housed Ollie’s Bargain Outlet. This marks Price Rite’s first new lease in more than five years.
Scottsdale, Ariz. — The Italiano has opened a new restaurant within Mercado del Rancho, an 89,506-square-foot retail center located in Scottsdale, approximately 15 miles northeast of Phoenix. Sprouts Farmers Market anchors the center, which is owned by Westwood Financial. Houston — Katz’s Deli, a 24-hour restaurant concept, has signed a 6,300-square-foot lease in Houston. Construction on the new restaurant, which will be situated within the Memorial City mixed-use development, is scheduled to begin in early 2025. Delivery of the development is expected by early 2026.
