Marietta, Ga. and Waynesville, N.C. – Colliers International’s Southeast Retail Investment Sales Team of Joe Montgomery and Tony D’Ambrosio has recently closed on the sale of several properties, including two in Marietta, near Atlanta, and one in Waynesville, outside of Asheville, North Carolina. Home Center Village is an 88,369-square-foot shopping center located in the Town Center submarket of Marietta. Montgomery and D’Ambrosio served as exclusive agent to seller Mimms Enterprises. The Florida-based buyer The Geneva Group paid $6.92 million for the 90 percent-occupied shopping center that is shadow-anchored by a Walmart Supercenter and features Dollar Tree and Anna’s Linens locations.

Montgomery and D’Ambrosio also arranged the $7.5 million sale of Marietta Plaza, a 206,828-square-foot Burlington Coat Factory-anchored shopping center located in Marietta just north of the site of the future Atlanta Braves stadium. Atlanta-based The Simpson Organization Inc. purchased the center from an institutional seller. The Southeast Retail Investment Sales Team also recently closed the sale of Lakeside Plaza, a 66,700-square-foot Food Lion-anchored neighborhood center located in Waynesville.
