Hunstville, Ala. — The $16 million Phase II adds 95,000 square feet of retail on nine acres.
GBT Realty Corp. will expand its Strong Station, a 180,000-square-foot neighborhood center located in Huntsville. Nearly 96 percent leased, Strong Station is currently tenanted by Academy Sports + Outdoor. The $16 million Phase II adds 95,000 square feet of retail on nine acres to the east of the existing sporting goods store. Strong will be home to one of Alabama’s first two Sprouts Farmers Markets, as well as Hobby Lobby, located immediately adjacent to the grocer, and the breakfast, lunch and brunch franchise Another Broken Egg, situated at the end-cap of the shop space west of Sprouts. An additional 8,400 square feet of shop space is available in this phase that will be completed in February. Construction is currently underway.
