Portland, Ore. — The exterior renovation plan includes the creation of two new entryways that are expected to further connect the mall to its surrounding community.

Portland, Ore. — Cypress Equities has unveiled its initial plans for the renovation of Lloyd Center, a 1.2 million-square-foot regional shopping center in downtown Portland. The three-level property was the largest shopping center in the country when it was developed in 1960, according to Cypress Equities. The exterior renovation plan includes creating two new pedestrian entryways that will provide greater access to the center, as well as integrating more storefronts. The renovation also aims to reposition Lloyd Center, following closely on the heels of its new logo introduction.

The first proposed new entrance will be located between the southwest parking garage and Macy’s department store, while the other is slated between Sears and Marshalls on the east side of the mall. Both entryways are expected to initiate more connectivity between the property and the overall Lloyd District.
