Publix Acquires Four Centers for $37.5 Million

King PlazaAtlanta — Jones Lang LaSalle has brokered the sale of a portfolio of four grocery-anchored shopping centers on behalf of Jacksonville, Fla.-based Columbia Regency Partners II LLC. Publix Super Markets Inc. purchased the properties for $37.5 million. The centers include the 81,432-square-foot King Plaza in Atlanta; 72,568-square-foot Lost Mountain in Atlanta; the 58,455-square-foot Island Crossing in West Palm Beach, Fla.; and the 59,880-square-foot Surfside Beach Commons in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Publix anchors King Plaza, Lost Mountain and Island Crossing, while Surfside Beach Commons is anchored by Bi-Lo.
