Tempe, Ariz. – The opening will be Nordstrom Rack’s fifth location in the Valley.

Tempe, Ariz. – The 1.3 million-square-foot Tempe Marketplace will add big-box tenants Nordstrom Rack, DSW and Total Wine in 2014. The first store to open will be Designer Shoe Warehouse (DSW) in mid-April, which will inhabit 20,000 square feet in the center’s southeast section. In October, Nordstrom Rack will open next to JCPenney, and occupy a 35,000-square-foot space. Total Wine & More, an independent fine wine retailer, will occupy a 20,000-square-foot space beginning in October. The vice president of acquisitions and development of the center’s owner Vestar, David Malin, says, “The new additions are perfect complements to our project and to our broad selection of shopping, dining and entertainment values.”
