Lakeland, Tenn. — The Was Group LLC will handle the leasing assignment for The Lake District, a 165-acre mixed-use project in Lakeland, 23 miles northeast of Memphis.
The development will be built around a 10-acre lake, and will include more than 300,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, more than 12 outparcels, two hotels, 300 single-family homes, 400 apartments units, a movie theater and 100,000 square feet of office space. Gilad Development Inc. is the project developer. A construction timeline was not disclosed.
