Gainesville, Fla. — Whole Foods Market has opened a 40,000-square-foot location at Butler Town Center, a 450,000-square-foot, planned mixed-use development in Gainesville.
The grand opening event on Wednesday, May 9 drew an estimated 2,000 people. The new store offers a selection of grab-and-go prepared foods, grocery items and venues such as a self-service counter with hot and iced coffee; create-your-own Acai Bowls; made in-house sushi, pizza and sandwiches; and Amazon lockers for package pick up and returns.
