Charlottesville, Va. — O’Connor Capital Partners has opened L.L.Bean, an outdoor apparel and footwear retailer, at the Shops at Stonefield, a 265,000-square-foot shopping center located roughly two miles north of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.

The New York-based real estate investment, management and development firm acquired the outdoor shopping center in late 2016 for $121.1 million. The new 15,000-square-foot L.L.Bean store joins tenants including Trader Joe’s, lululemon athletica, Vineyard Vines, Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, L’Occitane, Orvis, bluemercury and Regal Cinema. Part of its national expansion, L.L.Bean at the Shops at Stonefield marks the retailer’s fourth location in Virginia. At the time of the store’s opening, the shopping center was 95 percent leased.
