El Cajon, Calif. — La Maestra Family Clinic has purchased a multi-tenant retail center located at 1242-1248 E. Main St. in El Cajon, roughly 17 miles outside San Diego. Main Street Trust sold the asset for $6.4 million. The buyer plans to convert the vacant, 22,694-square-foot retail center into a community health center. The flagship store is situated on 18 acres along the north side of Interstate 91 roughly 38 miles outside Los Angeles. The property is the largest Home Depot on the West Coast and the second largest in the nation, according to the buyer. The name of the seller was not released.
Santa Barbara, Calif. — A joint venture between Shopoff Realty Investments, Praelium Commercial Real Estate and an affiliate of Dune Real Estate Partners has acquired a 175,000-square-foot building formerly occupied by Nordstrom at Paseo Nuevo, a mixed-use center in downtown Santa Barbara.
