A 48,387-square-foot Publix will anchor the property, which will be built in phases. Silverdale, Wash. — Sprouts Farmers Market plans to open a new store at 11066 Pacific Crest Place NW in Silverdale, about 33 miles west of Seattle. The Phoenix-based natural foods grocer will open the store at 7 a.m. local time tomorrow morning. Gallatin, Tenn. — Staghorn Capital Partners has arranged a $5.4 million construction loan for RREAF Holdings to develop Phase I of Shoppes at Hunter Pointe in Gallatin, about 30 miles northeast of Nashville. The property is expected to comprise 25,147 square feet and, with appropriate performance of Phase I, the loan will aid in developing Phase II. The loan features a floating interest rate with two years of interest-only payments followed by a 25-year amortization schedule. New York City — Footwear retailer Manolo Blahik will open a 9,947-square-foot retail and office lease in Manhattan. The property with include 4,942 square feet of retail space and 5,005 square feet of office space. David Thomas Design will serve as the project architect for the interior build-out of the store. Ariel Schuster, Ben Birnbaum and Peter Shimkin represented Manolo Blahik in the lease negotiations. The landlord is 717 Madison LP. The store is slated to open later this year.

Peoria, Ill. — PaPPo’s Pizzeria & Pub will open at Quincy Mall in Peoria this summer. The restaurant specializes in stone-hearth, oven-baked pizzas; and craft beer. Quincy Mall is the company’s first Illinois location, but it currently operates in Lake of the Ozarks, Columbia and Springfield, Missouri. PaPPo’s also serves calzones, sandwiches, salads, wings, breadsticks and its famous Pizookie, a brown butter chocolate chip cookie. PaPPo’s will occupy the current Que Town Bar-B-Que space. Que Town plans to relocate within the mall. Cullinan Properties Ltd. owns the property.

Mesquite, Texas — Locally based developer Brosco Group has broken ground on Corner Stone Plaza, a 21,000-square-foot retail project in the eastern Dallas suburb of Mesquite. Weitzman, which is handling leasing of the center, is targeting a mix of restaurant, beauty, fitness and service tenants, as well as healthcare practices. Completion is slated for mid-2020.

Chicago — Draper and Kramer Inc. has completed the second phase of its ongoing renovation of Lake Meadows Market in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood. The final element of Phase II was a full interior and exterior renovation of the shopping center’s 193,000-square-foot Jewel-Osco grocery store. Jewel-Osco parent company Albertsons shared costs of the $2.3 million project, which also included the addition of a mural entitled “Heart of Bronzeville” by local artist Corey Jenkins. Bensalem, Pa. — Colliers International has brokered the sale of a 211,000-square-foot retail property formerly occupied by Macy’s in Bensalem, a northeastern suburb of Philadelphia. The property is located within the Neshaminy Mall, a 1.2 million-square-foot shopping and dining destination that opened in 1968. The buyer, Sant Properties, plans to reposition the vacant box for multiple tenant spaces. The sales price was undisclosed.

Fate, Texas — Brookshire Grocery Co., a Tyler, Texas-based chain that operates about 180 grocery stores in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas, will open a FRESH by Brookshire store in Fate, located about 30 miles northeast of Dallas. The store will span a minimum of 55,000 square feet and will be located at the corner of Interstate 30 and Memorial Parkway. Construction is scheduled to begin by the end of the year, and the store is slated to open in late 2021.

San Jose, Calif. — Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) has opened a 500,000-square-foot expansion at Westfield Valley Fair, the French developer’s $1.1 billion retail destination in San Jose. The retail center is part of a redevelopment project that replaced two 1950s-era shopping centers.  The project now encompasses 2.2 million square feet in total, with more restaurant and store openings planned for 2021.
