Stone Mountain, Ga. — Colliers International has negotiated the $3.8 million sale of Indian Creek Crossing, a 63,650-square-foot, grocery-anchored shopping center in Stone Mountain. Food Depot anchors the center, which was 88 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants including Family Dollar and local retailers. Louisville, Ky. — Papa John’s International Inc. has announced it will open a new global headquarters in metro Atlanta by summer 2021. The Louisville-based pizza chain is in the process of picking an office space and expects to have a location finalized by the end of this year. Georgia Gov. The 115,000-square-foot property was 97 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants such as Anytime Fitness, Mathnasium, furniture store Phillips Trading, Great Clips and Platinum Cleaners. Atlanta — The Home Depot released its second-quarter results, which revealed the home improvement retailer saw a 23.4 percent increase in sales on a year-over-year basis. Sales totaled $38.1 billion in the second quarter, which ended Aug. 3. Because of the coronavirus outbreak and The Home Depot’s status as an essential retailer, meaning the stores have remained open through the pandemic, the company invested approximately $480 million in benefits for its associates, including weekly bonuses for hourly associates in stores and distribution centers.
