Asheboro, Morganton and Statesville, N.C. — Legacy has arranged the acquisition of three shopping centers for a total of $15.2 million in North Carolina. Food Lion anchors each of the properties, which were sold by two separate, undisclosed sellers. Together, Oakie Mountain Shopping Center in Asheboro, East Union Plaza in Morganton and Eastgate Commons in Statesville comprise 135,000 square feet. Jacob Baruch of Legacy represented the undisclosed buyer in the transactions.

The Kroger-anchored shopping center totals 107,080 square feet. The property was originally developed in 1972 and completely refurbished in 2021. Kroger occupies 42 percent of the property’s gross leasable area. Bill Rose, Erin Patton, Scott Wiles and Craig Fuller of IPA represented the seller, Citivest Commercial, and procured the buyer, Core Marwood Plaza LLC. Washington, D.C. — PRP has acquired Spring Valley Village, a 95,000-square-foot shopping center in Washington, D.C., for $47.5 million. Originally constructed in 1939 and renovated in 2017, the center comprises six buildings that were 98 percent leased at the time of sale. Tenants at the property include Crate & Barrel, Millie’s Restaurant, Capital One Bank, Starbucks Coffee, Small Door Veterinary, Compass Coffee and Blue Lane.
Milwaukee, Wis. — Legacy Realty Group Advisors has arranged the sale of Packard Plaza, a 125,250-square-foot shopping center in Milwaukee. Tenants at the property include Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, JOANN, AutoZone and The Salvation Army. Jacob Baruch, Ari Warshaw and Jonah Warshaw of Legacy represented both the buyer and seller in the transaction.
Fremont, Calif. — Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. has secured a $4.6 million loan for the acquisition of a single-tenant retail property located in Fremont. Ron Balys of Marcus & Millichap arranged the 10-year financing on behalf of the undisclosed borrower. Red Lobster occupies the property.

The first property, Color Plaza, comprises 49,309 square feet in Elizabeth. Tenants at the center, which was fully leased at the time of the transaction, include Seabras and CVS/pharmacy. Developed in 2004, the second property is Roselle Commons in Roselle. San Diego — French investor Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) has sold Westfield Mission Valley, a 1.1-million-square-foot retail center in San Diego, for $290 million. The center was developed on two parcels of property; URW sold the eastern portion to Lowe and Real Capital Solutions, while Sunbelt Investment Holdings Inc. bought the smaller western parcel. The Westfield Mission Valley shopping mall, the eastern part of the property, was originally built in 1960 on a 41-acre site.
