Seabrook, N.H. — BJ’s Wholesale Club will open a 90,000-square-foot store in Seabrook, approximately 50 miles north of Boston. The newly constructed building will be located on a 20-acre site on the crossroads of Interstate 95 and State Routes 107 and 1. The store will anchor several nearby parcels planned for future commercial development. Slated for delivery in 2021, the new store will be BJ’s seventh in the state. Waterstone Properties owns the development site.
Portsmouth, N.H. — Whole Foods Market will open a 42,000-square-foot grocery store in Portsmouth, located approximately 45 miles east of Concord. The store will be the Austin-based grocer’s third in the state and will anchor Durgin Square Shopping Center, a 135,000-square-foot retail property that also houses HomeGoods and T.J. Maxx. The store is slated to open this fall. Scott Black of Dartmouth Co. represented Whole Foods in the lease negotiations. Ben Starr of Atlantic Retail represented the landlord, Black Creek Group.
Milford, N.H. — JLL has negotiated the sale of Lordens Plaza, a 148,102-square-foot shopping center in Milford, which is located near Nashua just inside New Hampshire’s southern border. Shaw’s Supermarket anchors the property, which is located at the intersection of State Routes 101 and 101A. Other tenants include Rite Aid and Fresenius Medical Care. Nat Heald and Chris Angelone led the JLL team on behalf of the seller, LNR. Seattle-based Bridge33 Capital was the buyer.
West Lebanon, N.H. — NKF Capital Markets has arranged the sale of Powerhouse Plaza, an 81,317-square-foot retail property in West Lebanon.
Nashua, N.H. — NKF Capital Markets has arranged the sale of Royal Ridge Center, a 220,100-square-foot shopping center in Nashua.
West Lebanon, N.H. — NKF Capital Markets has arranged the sale of The Windalier Portfolio, a retail portfolio located in West Lebanon.
Nashua, N.H. — Linear Retail Properties has acquired two retail properties along the Daniel Webster Highway and Spit Brook Road in Nashua for $12.5 million.
Tilton, N.H. — Shaw’s Plaza, an 89,888-square-foot shopping center located in Tilton, has sold for $11.2 million.
Nashua, N.H. — Linear Retail Properties LLC has acquired a 29,554-square-foot, single-story, freestanding Barnes & Noble property located in Nashua for $12 million.
Manchester, N.H. — Brady Sullivan Properties, in partnership with Anagnost Cos., has purchased the former Osram Sylvania Plant in Manchester with a plan to redevelop the industrial building into Class A retail space.
