San Diego — NOVO Brazil Brewing Co. has opened an 11,500-square-foot restaurant and sports bar within Mission Valley, a 1.1 million-square-foot open-air shopping center located in San Diego. Situated within a space formerly occupied by Tilted Kilt, the concept features an 8,000-square-foot dining room, 3,500-square-foot outdoor patio, a 40-seat bar and extensive LED video walls for viewing sporting events. Other tenants at Mission Valley include Target, Nordstrom Rack, Macy’s Home, Michael’s, Bloomingdale’s Outlet, 24-Hour Fitness, Yard House, Outback, Buffalo Wild Wings and AMC.

Henderson, Nev. — LOGIC Commercial Real Estate has arranged the sale of Emerald Island and Rainbow Club Casino in downtown Henderson. An affiliate of ECL Water Street LCC, a Las Vegas-based company with 45 properties in three states, acquired the properties from Tim Brooks for an undisclosed price. Lexington, Ky. — RD1 Spirts has signed on to join as an anchor tenant at The Commons, a 40-acre mixed-use development in downtown Lexington. The locally based bourbon brand plans to invest $4.8 million to develop the two-story distillery spanning 10,215 square feet and including an entrance off Main Street. Normal, Ill. — Marcus & Millichap has negotiated the $2.5 million sale of two retail centers located in the college town of Normal. The adjacent properties are located near Illinois State University. Totaling approximately 17,500 square feet, the centers are primarily leased to local tenants including a marijuana dispensary, coffee shop, pizza parlor, regional medical provider and laundromat. Eric Bell, Jordan Callaway and Mitchell Kiven of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a real estate developer.
Fountain Inn, S.C. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $7.3 million sale of a 4,650-square-foot single-tenant property located in Fountain Inn. 7-Eleven occupies the newly constructed property on a 15-year net lease with a corporate guarantee. Austin Weisenbeck, Sean Sharko and Timothy Nichols of Marcus & Millichap represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction and procured the buyer, a limited liability company. Brunswick, Ga. — Buc-ee’s will develop a 74,000-square-foot travel center in Brunswick. Construction is scheduled to begin Jan. 29 with a groundbreaking. Upon completion, the property will feature 120 fueling stations, as well as a store offering snack, meal and drink options. Buc-ee’s currently operates 47 stores throughout Texas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Missouri and Tennessee.
Millington, Tenn. — Quantum Real Estate Advisors has brokered the $2.3 million sale of a new single-tenant property in Millington. Whataburger will occupy the building on a ground-lease basis. Oak Lawn, Ill. — A joint venture between Core Acquisitions and T2 Capital Management has sold a fully leased two-tenant retail center located in the Chicago suburb of Oak Lawn. Chicago Title and Hassleless Mattress occupy the center. A California-based buyer acquired the property, which recently underwent a full renovation, for $2.1 million. Tenants at the center include Papa John’s, Leslie’s, Edward Jones, Jersey Mike’s Subs and Phoenix Children’s Academy.
