Matawan, N.J. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $3 million sale of Matawan Mall, a shopping center located in Matawan, approximately 27 miles outside Newark. Originally developed in the 1980s, the 20,665-square-foot property comprises 11 tenants and is anchored by Dunkin’ Donuts. Brent Hyldahl, Alan Cafiero and Seth Goldberg of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, Burpat Holdings, in the transaction. Marcus & Millichap also procured the buyer, a local private investor.

Jacksonville, Fla. — Kimco Realty has acquired The Markets at Town Center, a 254,000-square-foot shopping mall located in Jacksonville, for $108 million. Sprouts Farmers Market anchors the property, which was built in 2008. Other tenants at the center, which was 97 percent leased at the time of sale, include Ulta Beauty, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, Five Below, REI, J. Short Pump, Va. — Wafra Inc. has sold Short Pump Station, a 91,369-square-foot shopping center in Short Pump, located roughly 10 miles northwest of Richmond. Nuveen Real Estate acquired the property for nearly $55 million, making the center the investor’s second acquisition in the Richmond metro area. Cranberry Township, Pa. — Supermarket chain Wegmans Food Markets Inc. has announced plans to open a new store in Cranberry Township, roughly 21 miles outside Pittsburgh. This marks the chain’s first location in metro Pittsburg. Designed and constructed by Sippel Development Co., the115,000-square-foot store will feature a bakery, seafood department, meat, produce, deli and cheese options and a selection of wine and beer. Situated on 13 acres, the new store will be a part of the larger Cranberry Springs mixed-use development. Wegmans currently operates 111 stores along the East Coast.

CRAFT Restaurant Beer Market

Dallas — Food-and-beverage concept CRAFT Restaurant & Beer Market has announced plans to open its first U.S. location in the Preston Center commercial district of Dallas. Occupying a 10,500-square-foot space, the venue will feature a 360-degree bar with more than 100 beers on tap, cocktails, wine and a food menu. The restaurant, which is scheduled to open in early 2026, will also include a 5,250-square-foot rooftop patio with a full bar, booth seating, greenery and a games area. CRAFT currently operates nine restaurants throughout Canada.

Johns Creek, Ga. — Toro Development Company (TDC) has broken ground on Medley, a $560 million mixed-use project in Johns Creek, approximately 27 miles north of Atlanta. Upon completion, the 43-acre development will feature 180,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space, 900 residences — with a mix of townhomes and multifamily units — and 110,000 square feet of office space. Edgewater, Colo. — CentrePoint Properties has acquired Edgewater Public Market, a 76,000-square-foot retail center located in Edgewater, roughly five miles outside downtown Denver. Opened in 2019 within a building formerly occupied by King Soopers, the center comprises a food hall and 17 retail tenants, as well as three additional buildings leased to tenants including Shake Shack, Syrup, Veterinary Emergency Group and Adelita’s Cocina y Cantina. LCP Development, an affiliate of LCP Management, was the developer and seller.
