Atlanta, Ga. — A joint venture between Branch Properties and Carter is set to break ground on an 87,000-square-foot grocery-anchored shopping center in the Atlanta neighborhood of Summerhill. The center will be anchored by a 50,000-square-foot Publix Supermarket and will feature a two-level parking deck. Leasing at the development, which is scheduled for completion in fall 2022, is currently underway with roughly 37,000 square feet of space available for a variety of retail or service tenants. East Palo Alto, Calif. — JLL Capital Markets has arranged the $53.2 million sale of Gateway 101, a 92,110-square-foot retail center in East Palo Alto, roughly 30 miles outside San Francisco. The property is fully leased to Target and Nordstrom Rack, and opened in 2000 as part of a larger 430,000-square-foot retail center. Bryan Ley, Eric Kathrein and Tony Ensbury of JLL represented the seller, Regency Centers Corp., in the disposition of the property to an undisclosed private foreign investor.

An undisclosed seller sold the property for $7.1 million. The name of the buyer was not released. Nat Heald, Chris Angelone and Zach Nitsche of JLL represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. The buyer, NNM Realty Trust, acquired the property for an undisclosed price. Bossier City, La. — SRS’ Investment Properties Group has brokered the sale of River Crest Shopping Center, a retail property located at 4970 Barksdale Blvd. in Bossier City. The 22,140-square-foot center was 74.5 percent occupied at the time of sale by tenants including Verizon, Smoothie King and Little Caesars. Aaron Johnson and Brad Gibbs of SRS represented the seller, Sealy River Crest I LLC, in the disposition of the property to Wen Jing Real Estate Inc. The purchase price was undisclosed.
