San Antonio, Texas — Nordstrom Rack and Chick-fil-A have signed leases at Northwoods Shopping Center, a 443,148-square-foot retail center located in San Antonio. Nordstrom Rack will open a 34,966-square-foot store in September. Chick-fil-A is constructing a 4,995-square-foot building at the property, a timeline for which was not announced. Other tenants at the center include H-E-B, Barnes & Noble, Marshall’s, Ulta Beauty, Old Navy, Chuy’s, Fish City Grill, La Madeleine French Bakery & Café, Red Robin and Regal Cinemas. CIM Group is the landlord.
Round Rock, Texas — Partners Real Estate, formerly known as NAI Partners, has arranged the sale of a 5,302-square-foot retail property in the northern Austin suburb of Round Rock. Mister Car Wash occupies the property. Landan Dory and Jason Chtay of Partners represented the buyer, an entity doing business as AJH Williamsburg Ltd., in the transaction. North Richland Hills, Texas — Merlin Entertainments, an operator based in the United Kingdom, will open a theme park in North Richland Hills, a suburb of Fort Worth, dedicated to children’s entertainment character Peppa Pig. The size of the park, which will feature multiple rides, interactive attractions, themed playscapes and shows, was not disclosed. Houston, Katy and League City, Texas — Gordon Food Service will open six new stores in metro Houston, the first Texas locations for the brand. Gordon Food Service Stores provide food products, including packaged and fresh goods, to restaurant owners and other foodservice professionals. Each store will comprise between 25,000 and 30,000 square feet. Four stores will open in Houston, Katy and League City Mar. 14, with an additional two stores opening in Houston at a later date.
New York City — A&G Real Estate Partners will auction eight Party City leases in its capacity as real estate advisor to the retailer. These leases — which include locations in Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, New York, Texas and West Virginia — come in addition to 12 Party City leases announced for auction by A&G in late February. Magnolia, Texas — SVN | J. Beard Real Estate has begun leasing Country Forest Plaza, a 9,615-square-foot retail project located in Magnolia, about 45 miles northwest of Houston. Tenant spaces will range in size from 1,300 to 5,715 square feet. Kane Dunbar is serving as general contractor for the project, construction of which began in January and is expected to be completed during the summer.
Coppell, Forney and Fort Worth, Texas — Firehouse Subs has signed three leases totaling 4,149 square feet in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro. Firehouse will occupy 1,649 square feet at Heritage Trace in Fort Worth, 1,300 square feet at Victory at Forney in Forney and 1,200 square feet at Braewood Shopping Center in Coppell.
