A 125,353-square-foot Lowe’s Home Improvement store anchors the property along with a 74,541-square-foot Giant Food grocery store and a 12,500-square-foot Premium Fine Wine & Good Spirits. Brad Nathanson of IPA represented the undisclosed seller and procured the buyer, Triple BAR Group, in the transaction. Wayne, Pa. — Pet Valu Inc., a specialty retailer of pet food and supplies, has opted to wind down its U.S. operations. The retailer will close all 358 stores in the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, as well as its warehouses and its U.S. headquarters office in Wayne. Burnham, Pa. — JLL has arranged an undisclosed amount of acquisition financing for Greater Lewistown Plaza, a 185,282-square-foot, grocery-anchored shopping center located in the Central Pennsylvania town of Burnham. Grocer Weis is the anchor tenant at the 22-acre property, and other users include CVS, Dunham Sports, Goodwill and Rent-a-Center. Pittsburgh — Dick’s Sporting Goods (NYSE: DKS) reported a record level of quarterly earnings for its fiscal second quarter, which ended Aug. 1. The company reported $276.8 million in consolidated net income and boosted its earnings per share by 155 percent relative to the second quarter of 2019. The open-air, riverfront property was fully leased at the time of sale to tenants such as T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, Ulta Beauty, Planet Fitness, Chipotle Mexican Grill and AT&T. The center is leased to three tenants: anchor and grocer ShopRite, CVS and a wireless telecommunications provider.
