Columbia, S.C. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $7.1 million sale of two vacant retail buildings located at 3818 Devine St. in Columbia. The 38,816-square-foot property was home to a Piggly Wiggly for more than 40 years before the grocer closed in April. Harrison Creason and Andrew Margulies of Marcus & Millichap brokered the transaction between the seller, an out-of-state owner, and the buyer, locally based-Cason Development Group, in the transaction.

Myrtle Beach, S.C. — NAI Charleston has arranged the sale of a 57,659-square-foot shopping center located at 201-233 International Drive in Myrtle Beach. Built in 2014, the center sits on 6.4 acres, according to LoopNet. Lowes Foods anchors the center, which is leased to a mix of local and national tenants. Thomas Boulware and Michael Branch of NAI Charleston represented the buyer in the transaction. Drew Parks of Coldwell Banker Commercial represented the seller.

Rock Hill, S.C. — A joint venture between ShopOne Centers REIT, Pantheon and a global institutional investor has acquired Riverview Commons, a 59,020-square-foot shopping center located in Rock Hill, roughly 15 miles south of Charlotte, North Carolina. Food Lion and Dollar General anchor the property, which was 96 percent leased at the time of sale. Additional retailers at the center include Computer CPR, Exquisite Nails & Spa, Hair Savvy Salon, Big Wok II, Rock Hill Bagels & Deli, Ivy Rehab and ISI Elite Training. Florence, S.C. — The Morgan Cos. will develop a grocery-anchored shopping center in Florence, dubbed Palmetto Place. Publix has signed a lease for a 47,000-square-foot space to anchor the project. An additional 18,050 square feet of retail space will be available, as well as several outparcels for future retail development. Wes Thurmond and Robey Spratt of Atlantic Retail Properties will serve as the leasing agents for the project. Irmo, S.C. — The Palomar Group has brokered the sale of Irmo Station, a 99,384-square-foot shopping center located in the Columbia suburb of Irmo. Originally built in 1980, the Kroger-anchored center is situated on 13.8 acres. Tenants at the property include Orangetheory Fitness, Pizza Hut, Pet Supplies Plus and Palm Beach Tan. A publicly traded REIT acquired the property for an undisclosed price.

North Charleston, S.C. — Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina-based Ziff Real Estate Partners (ZRP) has acquired Promenade at Northwoods, a 253,308-square-foot retail center in North Charleston, for $30.8 million. While the sales price was not disclosed, The Post and Courier reports the seller was an affiliate of Charlotte, North Carolina-based Big V Property Group. Nags Head, N.C. — Charlotte, North Carolina-based The Keith Corporation has acquired the Outlets Nags Head, an 82,161-square-foot outlet shopping center located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Ignite Retail Partners will lead marketing and leasing efforts for the property. Tenants at the center include Aerie, Eddie Bauer, Michael Kors, Talbots, and Vera Bradley, as well as a collection of local retailers like Salt Coast Outfitters, Outer Banks Olive Oil and BROS. Singerman Real Estate sold the property for an undisclosed price.

Greer, S.C. — Franklin Street has arranged the $8.6 million sale of Suber Commons, a two-building retail center located in Greer, approximately 12 miles from downtown Greenville. The 20,193-square-foot center was fully leased at the time of sale. Tenants at the property include IHOP, Five Guys, Batteries Plus, Heartland Dental and America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses.
