Rock Hill, S.C. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $6.3 million sale of a single-tenant property located in Rock Hill. Walgreens occupies the 14,550-square-foot building on a triple-net-lease basis. Andrew Margulies, Harrison Creason and John Berger of Marcus & Millichap secured the buyer, and Dean Giannakopoulos of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. arranged acquisition financing. Zosime was the seller.

Crush-Yard

Orlando, Fla. and Mount Pleasant, S.C. — Crush Yard will open two new pickleball clubs in Florida and South Carolina. Opening later this month, the first venue will total 40,000 square feet in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. In November, a 50,000-square-foot facility will open in Orlando, occupying a former Bed Bath and Beyond building. The clubs will feature pickleball courts, as well as access to coaches. The South Carolina Crush Yard will also feature coffee from One Nation Coffee and beer from Holy City Brewing.

Greenwood, S.C. — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the $10.8 million sale of Westwood Plaza, an 83,354-square-foot retail center located in Greenwood. Planet Fitness, Dollar Tree and Popshelf anchor the center. Margaret Jones and Lane Breedlove of Cushman & Wakefield represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. Prudent Growth Partners acquired the property.

Hardee's

San Diego — High Bluff Capital Partners will assume ownership of a portfolio comprising 81 Hardee’s locations following an auction. Located in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina and Wyoming, the restaurants were previously owned by franchisee Summit Restaurant Group, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in May of this year. The transaction is expected to close in August. Indian Land, S.C. — JLL Capital Markets has arranged the sale of Promenade at Carolina Reserve, a 221,054-square-foot shopping center located in Indian Land, roughly 20 miles south of Charlotte. TJ Maxx, Burlington, Ross Dress for Less, HomeGoods, Ulta Beauty, Petco and Dollar Tree anchor the property, which was fully leased at the time of sale. Greenville, S.C. — RocaPoint Partners has signed Perch Kitchen & Tap to open a restaurant and brewery at Greenville County Square, a $1 billion mixed-use development in Greenville. Perch Kitchen & Tap is the first committed food-and-beverage tenant and will join Whole Foods Market in the development’s first phase. Palmetto Brewing Co. is partnering with Perch to operate the restaurant’s brewery portion. The new restaurant and brewery will feature 7,200 square feet of indoor dining and kitchen space and a 2,100-square-foot outdoor patio.

Greenville, S.C. — Sprouts Farmers Market will open a 25,000-square-foot store at North Hills Shopping Center in Greenville. Originally built in 1975, the retail center is currently undergoing renovations including updates to facades, landscaping, patios, storefronts and parking lot repairs. Construction of the Sprouts is scheduled to begin this year, with the opening planned for 2024. This marks the second location for the brand in the Greenville market.  Aston Properties is the landlord.
