Wyomissing, Pa and Voorhees Township, N.J. — CBRE has arranged the sale of three retail properties located in Wyomissing and Voorhees Township, totaling approximately $14.7 million. The properties include a stand-alone Wawa convenience store and gas station in Wyomissing and two retail centers at Cedar Hill Shopping Center in Voorhees Township. The Wawa location — which sold for $7.37 million — totals 5,051 square feet and is situated in The Knitting Mills, a 54-acre mixed-use redevelopment project in Wyomissing that houses UGI Energy Services’ Corporate Headquarters.
The retail strip centers in Voorhees Township are known as units three and four within the 19.2-acre Cedar Hill Shopping Center, which is anchored by BJ’s Wholesale Club and Lowe’s Home Improvement. Unit three — which was fully leased at the time of sale — sold for $2.45 million and totals 6,205 square feet. Unit four, anchored by Starbucks, a jewelry store, UPS Store, Vitamin Shoppe and other tenants, sold for $4.91 million and totals 10,686 square feet.
Matthew Gorman, Michael Shover, Thomas Finnegan, Robert Thomson and Nick Holtz of CBRE represented the private buyer and seller in the Wawa transaction. The team also represented the undisclosed private seller and institutional buyer for the Cedar Hill Shopping Center strip centers.
