Miami – In celebration of the launch, Cinemex and developer Swire Properties will host a series of public outdoor film events.
Miami – Mexico City-based Cinemex will open its first cinema in the U.S. at Miami’s 35,677-square-foot Brickell City Centre in 2016. The cinema will be a 622-seat, dine-in experience with oversized leather seats in 11 viewing rooms. Cinemex has partnered with Mikel Alonso, chef of Biko, to curate the menu, as well as hired Mexico City mixologist Mica Rousseau to work with Alonso. The theater’s facade will simulate a grand “telón”, or theater curtain, via a large-scale LED screen with animated content.
