HFF Arranges Sale, Financing of Mixed-Use Project in Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

Woodbury, Minn. — HFF has arranged the sale of CityPlace, a mixed-use development located in Woodbury, Minnesota.

CityPlace consists of 236 hotel rooms, 253 multifamily units, 184,711 square feet of retail space and medical office space. Tenants at the property, located nine miles from St. Paul, include Whole Foods Market, La-Z-Boy Furniture, Verizon Wireless, Sur La Table, Nordstrom Rack and Qdoba Mexican Grill. Amy Sands, Clinton Mitchell, Daniel Finkle and Jules Sherwood of HFF represented the seller, Elion Partners, in the transaction. Timothy Joyce, Elliott Throne and Jason Bond, also of HFF, secured acquisition financing for the buyer, Inland Realty Property Fund LP. Guardian Life Insurance Co. of America provided the 10-year, fixed-rate loan. The sales price was not disclosed.
