Irvine, Calif. — Irvine Co. Retail Properties has completed a $200 million renovation at Irvine Spectrum Center, a shopping center located in the Southern California community of Irvine.
Continuing through 2019, the center will welcome a total of 30 new stores and restaurants located throughout four new buildings. The investment also includes new and enhanced outdoor spaces and amenities such as courtyards, updated landscaping and new seating areas. Fifteen retailers will open at the center on Saturday, August 18, including Hello Kitty Café, H&M, Apple Irvine Spectrum Center, Gorjana, The Denim Lab and BLKdot Coffee, among others. Later this year, Sephora, Drybar, Brigade LA and SST&C will open locations at the center. Irvine Spectrum Center houses more than 150 shops and restaurants, including Target, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, lululemon athletica, Yankee Candle and a 21-screen movie theater. Irvine Co. has owned and operated the center since it opened in 1995.
