Sudberry Properties to Break Ground on Millenia Commons in Metro San Diego

Chula Vista, Calif. — Sudberry Properties is set to break ground on Millenia Commons, a 131,800-square-foot shopping center located roughly eight miles outside San Diego in Chula Vista.

The company acquired 12.5 acres for the development from Stratford Land. The center will act as the primary retail component of Millenia, a 210-acre master-planned community. Preleasing efforts by Flocke & Avoyer have resulted in leases with HomeGoods, Cost Plus World Market, Ross Dress for Less, buybuy Baby, Mattress Firm, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Papagayos Grill & Cantina, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, Great Clips, Jamba Juice, McDonald’s and Pacific Dental Services. Sudberry Properties’ development team includes Andrew Hull Stevenson Architects and GroundLevel Landscape Architecture. Construction is set to begin this summer, with the grand opening projected for summer 2018.
