Norcross, Ga. — Tile Tech Renewal Co. has appointed terra alma to lease space comprising over an acre and several buildings at South End, a mixed-use property in downtown Norcross, about 20 miles outside of Atlanta. Redevelopment efforts will include 4,500 square feet of new construction as well as the preservation and adaptive reuse of existing buildings. Buildings at the property include an almost 100-year-old former gas station — now Rose & Hemp, a CBD store — and two buildings that are more than 70-years-old and were previously used for manufacturing and warehousing. South End’s main fixture is a central gathering space, referred to as The Yard, around which the buildings are organized. Current businesses at South End include Butter & Cream, an ice cream shop and Refuge Coffee Co. Prospective plans include a food hall in an old engine building at the site.
