Littleton, Colo. – Southwest Plaza in suburban Denver will spend millions to redevelop the 1.3 million-square-foot property. Improvements include renovating the center court with multiple open-air cafes, new seating areas and free Wi-Fi access, as well as new directional signage crafted from natural materials, accented by colorful, regional landscape elements; indoor fireplaces; skylights; and light coves. The redevelopment will be completed in fall 2015. Studio H2G of Birmingham, Mich., is design architect for the renovation, with Omniplan of Dallas, Tex., serving as architect of record. Southwest Plaza is owned and managed by General Growth Properties.
