Wheeler Real Estate Investment Trust Acquires Three Property Portfolio for $15.3 Million

Virginia Beach, Va. — Virginia Beach-based Wheeler Real Estate Investment Trust Inc. has acquired a portfolio of three grocery-anchored properties in North Carolina for $15.3 million.

Properties include Cardinal Plaza, a 50,000-square-foot retail center located in Henderson; Franklinton Square, a 65,336-square-foot retail center located in Franklinton; and Nashville Commons, a 56,100-square-foot grocery-anchored center located in Nashville, North Carolina. The portfolio was purchased from a family-owned group.
