Miami – CREC Vice President Chris Barney and Co-Director of Retail Leasing Sabrina Meerbott will jointly represent Crunch, while Barney will manage the tenant representation assignments for Applebee’s and Flix Brewhouse.
Miami – CREC will represent restaurant chain Applebee’s, Crunch Fitness and cinema eatery Flix Brewhouse as the brands expand throughout Florida. Flix Brewhouse is a Texas-based cinema concept that has a microbrewery inside, and is seeking to expand across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, as well as from Naples to Fort Myers. The cinema-microbrewery concept is seeking 37,000 to 42,000 square feet in free-standing properties and high-density shopping centers.
CREC is representing Crunch Fitness as it looks to increase its presence in shopping centers in select areas of Miami-Dade and Broward counties, Naples up to Fort Myers and Cape Coral, as well as in the Orlando market, seeking spaces ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 square feet. The firm is also working with Doherty Enterprises Inc., which last year acquired 38 Applebee’s restaurants in Georgia and Florida, in handling the evaluation of its current locations and helping identify new restaurant locations in the region between Naples and Sarasota.
