Forney, Texas — StreetLevel Investments has announced the opening of its first wave of tenants at Village at Gateway, a 152-acre, multi-phase mixed-use project located in Forney, roughly 20 miles east of Dallas. Situated within the 2,000-acre Gateway master-planned development, phase one will feature 750,000 square feet of retail, entertainment and restaurants. Target, Home Depot, H-E-B, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Five Below, Burlington, Ross Dress for Less, Rack Room Shoes, Pacific Dental, James Avery and Bath & Body Works are now open at the center.
Additional retailers and restaurants that will be joining the first round of tenants at a later time will include Dick’s Sporting Goods, EVO Entertainment, Verizon, Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, Luna Grill, Costa Vida, Handel’s Ice Cream, Forney Nail Bar, Livewell, Solis and America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses.
Upon full completion of the project, Village at Gateway will include nine outparcels; future multifamily residential; an additional 120,000 square feet of retail, service and restaurant concepts; as well as connectivity to Texas Health Resources’ 50-acre medical campus that’s underway.
