Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Walmart Reopens After Renovation

Los Angeles — The 200,000-square-foot Walmart reopened on Tuesday, Sept. 25.

Los Angeles  — Walmart, the 200,000-square-foot anchor at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza in Los Angeles, has reopened its doors Sept. 25 after undergoing a renovation. Upgrades include wider aisles and refurbished escalators, as well as new floor finishes and store entrances. Walmart also expanded its selection of groceries. The renovation is part of a greater initiative to upgrade the 870,000-square-foot Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza mall. Capri Urban Baldwin LLC has invested more than $35 million on a complete transformation of the mall, including new restaurants, dining court and children’s play area. Other anchors for the center include Macy’s and Sears.
