Houston — Life Time Inc., an owner-operator of health clubs across the country, will bring a 56,000-square-foot athletic facility and 38,000-square-foot coworking space to GreenStreet, an office and retail property in downtown Houston by local developer Midway. The facility will be located at 1201 Main St. and will offer two floors featuring a range of health and wellness amenities combined with coworking space. The opening is scheduled for 2020.

Natick, Mass. — Online home goods retailer Wayfair Inc. has announced plans to open its first full-service store at the Natick Mall in Natick. At the Wayfair store, service and home-design experts will be available to consult shoppers on home décor, furniture and other products. Customers can purchase an assortment of home décor products, as well as place orders for home deliveries. The location, which is slated to open this fall, will be 3,700 square feet. The Boston-based company generates roughly $7 billion in annual revenue from online purchases.

Joliet, Ill. — Cullinan Properties Ltd. has broken ground on Rock Run Crossings, a 265-acre mixed-use project in Joliet. Cullinan is underway on clearing the site and plans to begin construction late this spring. A groundbreaking ceremony took place Friday, March 22. Cullinan has also revealed the first anchor tenant at Rock Run Crossings will be a 16-screen Regal Cinemas movie theater that will span 70,000 square feet. The developer plans to announce more tenants later this year.
Mesquite, Texas — Urban Air Adventure Park, an entertainment concept featuring trampolines, will open a 30,706-square-foot venue in Mesquite, an eastern suburb of Dallas. The venue will be located within a freestanding building at 3777 Childress Ave. that was previously occupied by sporting goods retailer Gander Mountain, which filed for bankruptcy in 2017. David Zoller and Derek Schuster of Weitzman represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Mike Stern and Josh Flores of EDGE Realty Partners represented Urban Air, which plans to open the venue late this summer.
Grand Prairie, Texas — Dallas-based Main Event will open a 48,000-square-foot entertainment venue at 3102 S. Highway 161 in Grand Prairie, located roughly midway between Dallas and Fort Worth. The venue, which will be the company’s seventh in the metroplex, will feature 22 bowling lanes, laser tag, a ropes course and zip line and more than 130 interactive and virtual video games. The opening is slated for winter 2020.
PREIT Adds The Cheesecake Factory to Tenant Mix at Woodland Mall in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as Part of Redevelopment
Grand Rapids, Mich. — The Cheesecake Factory is coming to Woodland Mall in Grand Rapids as part of the repositioning of the regional mall, according to PREIT, the center’s owner. South Miami, Fla. — Yumbrella Food Hall is now open at The Shops at Sunset Place in South Miami, Florida. Led by food truck organizer and restaurateur Steve Simon, Yumbrella is the only food hall in the city, paying homage to Miami’s original food hall, which opened in the 1970s by the same name. Cumming, Ga. — Retail Planning Corp. (RPC) will break ground on The Publix at Matt shopping center in Cumming, Georgia. Publix will anchor the 82,000-square-foot center, with additional tenants set to include Great Clips, AT&T, J. Christopher’s and Nail Talk & Tan. The property will be situated at the corner of Bannister Road and Matt Highway, 48 miles north of downtown Atlanta. RPC expects to deliver the shopping center in summer 2020.
Gainesville, Fla. — Butler Enterprises has announced a lease with Cheesecake Factory to bring the restaurant to Butler Town Center at Stengel Field in Gainesville, Florida, this fall. Cheesecake Factory will anchor the 450,000-square-foot center’s entry on Archer Road and Interstate 75. The restaurant will span 10,000 square feet including a 2,000-square-foot outdoor patio.
