Texas City, Texas — Edifis Group, a Houston-based development and investment firm, will redevelop Palmer Plaza, a 98,816-square-foot shopping center in Texas City, about 40 miles southeast of Houston.
SMYRNA, GA. — Halpern Enterprises Inc. has broken ground on the second phase of The Shops at Belmont, a 47,593-square-foot retail center located in Smyrna, roughly 17 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta.
Lakeland, Tenn. — The Was Group LLC will handle the leasing assignment for The Lake District, a 165-acre mixed-use project in Lakeland, 23 miles northeast of Memphis.
Katy, Texas — VillaSport Athletic Club & Spa will open a 121,000-square-foot athletic facility within Stableside at Falcon Landing, a 270,000-square-foot retail development in Katy.
San Antonio — Weingarten Realty, a Houston-based REIT, has begun work on the 25-acre retail portion of Stevens Ranch, a 2,400-acre master-planned community in San Antonio.
Sandy Springs, Ga. — Atlanta-based developer Selig Enterprises has unveiled the retail tenant lineup at City Springs, a $229 million mixed-use development in Sandy Springs, located 14 miles north of downtown Atlanta.
